We introduced the new "fan" star today and would like to hear, if you like it too.
It has to be better than the old star system, but only time will tell. We now need a way to pick 'lead picture' from all the availabe pictures of each vessel.
It looks good, but I can't click on a star.
Maybe you can change the star with a thumbs up :o)
About the lead picture, this should be possible for the image-admin to change, same like changing wrong imo vessels, changing inappropriate comments and stuff like this.
But first let them work on a new database system so it's possible to change some details.

Now, You've got the thumb, Stevo. Not sure if this is visually more impressive... but it makes a bit more sense :-)
Setting the lead picture for ImageAdmins will be the next step. I wrote a plan for that today, since some parts of the site, Fleetmon and the API are involved with that. Following after: the administration of the vessel-data.
