Hi,
Having downloaded and registered this Christmas Day, is there a way that your location can be entered and saved without going to the map each time and "zooming" to your required location, ie Channel Islands or Le Harve etc.
Many thanks for a excellent app and have a Good Christmas,
Nigel
that would be a good feature for all non GPS phones (which we did not really have on our screens yet :-). But the next version should have more preferences to set, like: home-port, radius of reception and may be filtering...
version 1.1 has just been checked in.
Have fun with Fleetmon :mobile
Hi,
Thanks very much, what is the 9kCLErrorDomain error 0), is that to do with location.

Have to check with the Apple Bug reports to find out and will get an iPod also for future testing. When does is appear ?
Hi,
Sorry my fault, the whole message is;
Location Error!
Operation could not be completed
(kCLErrorDomain error 0.)
seems to crop up about 40 secs after you have zoomed into to a position on the Spotter tab, using the Satellite map.

@nklep: thanks for the detail, now I have to clarify... hang on please.
Hi,
Have you managed to get any aware with this Location error on the iPodTouch yet, (kCLErrorDomain error 1.). It really does not like "don't allow" when its asks to use your current position.
However been really useful lately with wanting to keep up to daye with local shipping movements. Apart from that really please, many thanks.

PS Any chance of a better feed for Le Harve and the upper part of the Thames...
We did a rebuild of the apps foundation, which is better prepared of the different platforms (iPad :-). Also adressed: persistance, more data views and better performance with large datasets.
We will release the update in the second week of Febr. Thanks for the patience.
please describe upper part of Thames... Le Havre has been gone since two weeks. Anyway, every improvement of the coverage has to be done by setting up Antennas in the area or via sharing of exisiting signals. We are really much support and appreciate people, making this possible.
Hi,
Thanks for the update, by upper poart of the Thames I mean around Greenwich, and the Thames Barrier.
