I have an image of HMS Roebuck, a Royal Navy survey vessel, pennant no H130. It has been quite happy on Digital Seas for a few months, but now it has been renamed by someone to RN TEST.

I can't see a way of reallocating a ship name to my image, and HMS Roebuck is no longer found in the "Search Ships".

Can anyone tell me what's going on, please ? Thanks,

Hi,
What happens, when two or more people are sharing from the same region?

The area just before Hamburg harbour seems to be covered more or less but the ships are not regularly updated and some are missing. As my position is just in front of the entrance of the harbour I activated the sharing in Shipplotter to complete the coverage. But this seems to cause some problems in Fleetmon so I deactivated it again.

Here is what I have seen:
The ships are regularly updated in Fleetmon as soon I receive a message but: The date/time of the vessels is totally messed up. For example a just updated vessel has a random timestamp from 1991 up to 2087. Next, the tracking lines of the ships totally disappear.

I am not quite sure what the reason for this might be as other pages I share with do not seem to have problems with the data. Maybe it happens when you get two identical messages from different stations at the same time? Or a configuration issue on my side (Windows clock is correct)?

Regards,
Dennis

Hello you good people at DS,
I think there is an error in the "Vessel Search";
First time I used the search function (name on the vessel), it worked perfect! But when I tried to search another vessel, the first name came up again!

Several times I tried, but with no luck finding the new vessel (and I do know it exists in your database).

When using the alphabetic letter, choosing first letter in the vessel name, no name was shown. After playing around for some time, strange enough, the correct vessel was now available on the namelist. Spooky!

Please look into this. If you need more info, please contact me (Lars2).

Keep up the good work!
Best regards,
Lars2
(Copenhagen, Denmark)
